Workshops

Our popular training workshops support the charity retail sector through our more established events such as Health and Safety and Security days, plus our newer workshops on selling electrical goods and furniture, which have been very well received. Each of these one-day events include lunch, refreshments and speaker handouts.

We are also continuing the eBay for Charity workshops. Please email Isabelle or call 020 7255 4477 for queries.

Security workshops - 22 April in London, 22 October in York
Profit from Security With charity shops potentially losing a greater percentage of sales to theft than commercial retailers, our interactive training can help you to combat loss and maximise the profit that your shops raise for your charity. You will learn how to prevent shoplifting and till snatches, while reducing the risk of harm to staff and volunteers, and ways to detect and deter losses due to staff and volunteer dishonesty. Further guidance and key learning will be given through case study work with Oxfam's Loss Prevention Manager, who will lead the sessions. These sessions are suitable for Heads of Retail, Operations Managers, Regional and Area Managers and senior shop managers or other staff with loss prevention responsibilities. Book now.
